PROFESSIONAL ASTROLOGICAL SERVICES
An astrological reading is an immediate and direct way of learning more about who you are, how others perceive you, what your true talents, strengths and weaknesses are, how your past has unfolded and where you are headed in the future. This personal information, essential for self-knowledge, is coded in astrological symbolism. A good psychotherapist may be able to extract some of this information from you, but certainly not in a single session and more probably only over the course of a year or more of therapy.
I approach each birth chart as a map of psychological imprints. In the course of a reading I attempt to unravel the trends that shaped a person during early childhood and suggest how these imprints manifest in the adult stages of life. Only when the birth chart is understood from a developmental point of view is an analysis of the "appropriateness" of a specific career, activity, or partner possible. My goal is to help people find where in life they fit in best - where they can best realize their full potential. In general, my style as a consultant is pragmatic. I locate problem areas in a person's life and offer a range of solutions. I do not leave my clients feeling like victims of distant planets - I offer them understanding and choices.
My approach always emphasizes free-will. I see individual lives as being constrained in certain ways, but choices are always available that allow us to move positively through the future. My work is practical and I offer advice on creating strategies to handle the life trends and events that planets deliver at times determined by their cycles.
In my work I generally use a number of the standard techniques of 20th century Western astrology including natal chart positions, transits, progressions, directions, solar and lunar returns, relocations, astro-mapping, synastry, and composite charts. I may also use elements of Hellenistic and Classical Western astrology, and also Mesoamerican astrology.
The date, time and place of your birth are necessary for an accurate analysis of your birth chart. Telephone readings are one hour in length. My fee is $150 for new clients, which includes a mp3 sound file or cassette tape of the reading which I will send to you after the session. Clients will also receive by email a 120+ page text file that lists a full year of transits and progressions to your natal chart on a daily basis.
My policy is to receive payment before I do a reading. Write to me at 32 Jeffrey Lane, Amherst, MA 01002, enclose a check and your phone number. I'll call you within a few days and we'll schedule a time for the reading. At present I am scheduling readings weekdays only starting at 11 AM Eastern time.
